Here is your quick round up from me and the rest of the Holbrooks neighbourhood policing team

Dear Resident,
Here is your quick round up from me and the rest of the Holbrooks neighbourhood policing team.

What’s been happening?

This week has been a busy week for the team. We have been involved in different operations like the Godiva Festival and some of our officers have been supporting our colleagues on response.

This week the arrest of two wanted offenders. The first was a male arrested on Sunday for shoplifting offences. The male was spotted by officers whilst they were conducting other enquires.

The second male was arrested on Monday evening by our officers who were on routine patrol. The male was seen walking along a residential road and was recognised by one of the officer. The male was wanted for Burglary and Theft from Motor Vehicle offences.

Officers stopped and seized the Citroen (in picture below) for no insurance. The officers spotted the vehicle and conducted a check on the police national computer due to the manner of driving. The vehicle pulled over and the driver ran off from the vehicle. The vehicle was seized by the officers and recovered by our recovery agents.

Two stolen vehicle were located on the same road by officers parked up having been left at the location which was a small residential road hidden away from the main road. Stolen vehicles are often left on a small street, in car parks or in locations with low footfall to make sure they are not being tracked etc. If you see a vehicle being left at a location in a suspicious manner or have noticed a vehicle parked out of place that may have been left for a number of days, you can report these via 101 or via the online webchat facility.
